Wednesday Workout - Stadiums

Want to break the monotony of training while still getting a good, honest workout in? Try running stadiums with the Street Sharks. Every Wednesday evening we meet at about 5:30pm [this is a fairly quick workout so some start earlier or later] to climb the bleacher at LT Smith stadium on WKU campus.

The workout goes something like this: we meet at the upper concourse. start running up the steps, reach the top run down to the next concourse, do 10 push ups, continue running to the bottom, then do lunges on the bleachers to the top... repeating until we reach the end of the stadium.

It is a surefire way to break a sweat in a short amount of time, while building core and leg strength in a relatively short amount of time.

We park in the lot in from of the parking structure between Diddle area and the Football stadium

The stadium can be very slick when it's wet, so if it is raining we play it safe and do the workout inside the parking structure.
